2022 Ubiquitous Robots (UR) Conference
Our lab members have participated in 2022 The 19th International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots (UR). The conference was held on July 4 - 6, at Ramada Plaza, Jeju, Korea.
Dr. Park and other eminent professors from various fields gave presentations on the topic of “Multi-Disciplinary Research of Soft Wearable Robots for Enhanced Usability”.
This workshop focused on topics related to the development of soft wearable robots by researchers in multi-discipline (e.g. Engineering, Rehabilitation, Design, & Sports) and was hosted by Seoul National University's Human-Centered Soft Robotics Research Center.
Dr. Park presented a presentation titled “Wearability in soft wearable robots: A human-centered design (HCD) approach”. She emphasized the importance of the concept and principles of Human-Centered Design, and explained the research approach to be carried out by applying HCD. In particular, Dr. Park explained user needs analysis, ergonomic design, iterative prototyping, and multifaceted wearability evaluation methods, and introduced cases of convergence research projects to improve wearability of software wearable robots.
