Personal Protective Equipment Project

The purpose of this research is to develop personal protective equipment for occupational workers with improved functionality and wearability. The occupational workers we have studied on include firefighters, healthcare workers, and law enforcement officers. We have conducted this stream of research supported by the US Department of Agriculture, Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station Hatch Funds (COL00224), Centers of Disease Control and Prevention/National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (CDC/NIOSH), Mountain and Plains Education Research (MAP ERC) Pilot Grant (ID 5301312), and Agency for Defense Development (ADD, Korea), and the Research Project UD120038ID (No. 411665-912299201), Korea.
